No charge but registration required (850)925–6121. Class size limited to 8. Bring your own equipment. Emphasis on digital photography. Taught by Barney Parker, former Wildlife Photography instructor at FSU. Kids are welcome with adults.

Sat. Jan. 9 (9 am & 1 pm) — Winter Wildlife/Waterfowl Tours
Tour with naturalist guide, Don Morrow to view the change of the seasons with birds, mammals, reptiles and plants. Please call to register for the 9 am or 1 pm tour. Bring binoculars, bug repellent, water and field guides if you have them. Reservations required (850)925–6121.

meets the third Sat. of every month. The photo club is free and open to all photographers interested in nature photography; regardless of experience. We hope the Scott Tidmous from Disney's Animal Kingdom will be able to stop by after his duties at the St. Marks NWR crane pen site.

We are fortunate to have Barry Boerner of the Tallahassee Astronomical Society and his big telescope to help watch stars as the great Royce Phillips tours folks around in the wagon! Please call ASAP to reserve your spot. Meet at the Visitor Center at 6:30 pm and be ready to enjoy! Weather is really supposed to be beautiful!

Showcasing Florida's Big Bend area. Fine art, music, living history demonstrations, informative presenters and exhibitors, dynamic educational shows and guided tours will seek to connect participants with the natural and cultural heritage of the region. Guided tours are available at a cost; advance registration is highly recommended since tours often fill to capacity well in advance of Festival dates. The 2010 Festival will highlight the 75th anniversary of the Florida Park Service. Visit and/or climb all four of the Big Bend Lighthouses — Cape San Blas, Cape St. George, Crooked River, Cape San Blas and of course St. Marks. St. Marks Lighthouse will be open for visitors; interpretive exhibits and family activities. Apr. 24 is Florida Lighthouse Day.
