Weather and Live Views from the Lighthouse

On July 16, 2020, a WeatherSTEM weather station was installed at the St. Marks Lighthouse. This installation was the result of an effort initiated by Bill Clutter, the president of the Friends of St. Marks Wildlife Refuge, and was a cooperative effort between Friends, the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge, Wakulla County Department of Emergency Management, The Florida Division of Emergency Management, and the vendor, WeatherSTEM.

The system provides real time weather information and two views:

The weather and live views can be also accessed from the main menu at Refuge > Live Cams.

Watch as Ed Mansouri, president of WeatherSTEM describes the system. The next time you visit the Lighthouse, take a look - it’s pretty cool.
