Dallas Beckett, Maintenance Mechanic At St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge for 35 years, retires in December 2020.
Dallas has been the behind-the-scenes magic that keeps St. Marks NWR running smoothly and looking its best. Refuge manager Terry Peacock said "I am going to have a very difficult time replacing Dallas. He requires no supervision. He is the glue that holds our equipment, roads and facilities together."
