Gail Fishman, Refuge Ranger, volunteer and tireless advocate for St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge, retires in December 2020.
She helped establish the Friends of St. Marks Wildlife Refuge, ran the Nature Store and supervised the Monarch/Milkweed Initiative. “There's so much to say here about how much institutional knowledge will be gone as Gail moves toward retirement," said refuge manager Terry Peacock. "We will miss her so much."
